Iamone - 'Synthecell'

Through the use of pharmaceuticals, we are learning how to control our moods, boost our physical and mental performance, increase our longevity and vitality. Through the application of prostheses, brain implants, and other bioelectronic devices, we are beginning to reconfigure our bodies, augment our memories, and generate entirely new ways of interacting with machines.

In his genre-spanning debut 'Synthecell', Ukrainian producer Iamone explores the emotional side of the ‘post-human’ condition. The hypnotic rhythms of 'Synthecell' mine the depths of what it means to be detached, but entranced. Evolving layers of stunning, widescreen texture complement the simultaneous lament and hope that anchor these emotional variations.

’Synthecell’ finds common ground between classic, spaced-out techno and gorgeous, melodic inflections that translate the ghostly innerspace of the primitive self into the tech-heavy existence of contemporary life.
